Starehe MP rushed to hospital for emergency operation

Starehe Member of parliament Charles Njagua, also known as Jaguar, was rushed to hospital on Monday for an emergency operation on his right knee.

According to reports, the legislature complained of discomfort on his knee despite seeking treatment multiple times.

David Kilonzo, alias DK Kwenye Beat shared photos on his social media of the former musician being wheeled to theatre.

“He has complained about his knee severally. Despite going to India for treatment, the problem persisted. As a resulted, we booked him into hospital for the surgery,” he narrated.

DK Kwenye Beat further assured Jaguar’s fans that he was out of danger and would be discharged soon. However, he didn’t reveal the hospital where the MP was admitted.

Jaguars problems date back to 2018 after a confrontation with county police. Then, according to reports, the lawmaker went to the Marikiti market to protest the bad treatment traders received from askaris.

However, efforts to intervene in the situation saw the member of parliament become collateral damage.

The police threw teargas at the protesters, which saw traders, including the MP, sustain injuries.

In a past interview, Jaguar said he didn’t realize his leg was broken until later when it started swelling.

The MP was taken to Karen hospital, where he received treatment and was later released.
