The government, through the Public Service Commission, has announced various vacancies in several state departments.
Advertised jobs range from senior management to entry-level with a varying salary scale of between Ksh 25,000 to Ksh 197,000.
According to the commission’s notice, all applications must reach its desk by March 15, 2021.
Qualified and interested persons can make their applications online through job portal www.psckjobs.go.ke or PSC website www.publicservice.go.ke.
Online application process
- All first-time users must produce their identification card ad current email to access the system.
- Applying for an internship opportunity or advertised job requires one to log into the system using a passport or ID number and the password created in step one.
- Before applying, an applicant must produce information about referees, membership to professional bodies, experience, academic and professional qualifications, and personal details. PSC won’t consider an incomplete application.
- Applicants should click on the application summary or report tab to print a copy of their feedback report.
- The selection and online recruitment system allows a candidate to revisit or amend their applications before the last date.
- Mozilla Firefox is the preferred internet browser when applying.
According to section (100) of the Public Service Commission amended in2017, an individual who provides false information is liable for a fine of not less than Ksh 200,000 or prosecution in jail for two years.
Resetting password
Users who used the system previously must reset their passwords. They’ll be required to add their identification and password afresh.
In case one forgets their password, click the forgot password tab and set a new one. A link will be sent to your email, which you’ll use to set your password.
