Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy will be like Idi Amin Dada’s – Vocal MP says after Senator Malala claims his life is in danger

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy will be written alongside former Congolese president Mobutu Sese Seko and former Uganda President Idi Amini Dada.

The MP took it to his social media pages to express his sentiments after Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala broke down in the Senate claiming that his life was in danger.

Ndindi stated that after using Malala to help Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru solve her problems, the same government was after his life.

“After misusing Senator Malala to sanitize the Governor for Kiriyaga a few weeks ago, now the same government is after Malala’s life. If things don’t change, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy will be written alongside those of Mobutu Sese Seko, Idi Amini Dada Oumee, and such other insecure petty dictators. If you ask a sane Kenyan why some politicians are in courts and being harassed around, what answer will come forth?”

“The same police they are using, most who are Hustlers in principle will turn a blind eye when Kenyans start going for the ultimate lords of impunity who are only ahead of us because they stole from our grandfathers. We are African and Africa is our Business,” read his statement.

Speaking before the Senate’s Security and Intelligence Committee on Monday 14 September 2020, Malala was overcome with emotions as he narrated how he has been frustrated trying to get some of the officials to listen to his problem.

“I’m a young father, a husband, and a representative of the people of Kakamega. It is very disheartening knowing some officers are sitting at a corner planning how to take away your life. I humbly request this committee and the Inspector General to take action,” he said.

He added that he had written many letters and called many offices looking for help but no action has been taken.

He claimed that he has even begged for his security to be beefed up but his cries have fallen into deaf ears adding that it is sad to walk around the streets knowing that someone might kill him any day.
