Why I bashed journalists at Tanasha Donna’s EP launch

Award-winning Kenyan rapper Khalighraph Jones has revealed why he blasted journalists during Tanasha Donna’s DONNATELLA EP launch a few weeks ago.

The father of one while speaking during an interview with NTV’s The Trend show host Anto Neosoul clarified that it was not out of disrespect but the journalists were asking the wrong questions at the wrong time.

Khalighaph Jones is known for his lyrical prowess.

The Mi Siogopi rapper went to add that the journalists should have prepared themselves better and asked him questions regarding Tanasha’s event or about his new track dubbed Yes Bana instead of questions about his daughter or the origin of his entertainment name.

“You want to talk to me about, oh Khaligraph so tell us about my daughter. Tuko kwa event ya Tanasha. Ask me about Tanasha’s songs. You know I’ve just put out a new joint me and Bien and I’m not discrediting anybody,” he said.

When asked about his beef with Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez who called him out after he won  Sound City MVP Best rapper in Africa 2020, Jones explained that he released his diss-track clapping back not only at the rapper but to also pass a message to the whole of West Africa. He termed the rapper as collateral damage.

Khalighraph Jones was named the Best Hip Hop Artiste in Africa 2020.

The rapper went on to support Gengetone artists as he urged people who have called out the artists to give the new generation time to grow.
