Adidas combines the past and the present by unveiling the Copa Mundial 21 Primeknit already worn by İlkay Gündoğan in training.
The Copa Mundial is a true football monument, it is even the best-selling pair of crampons of all time and today adidas is bringing it up to date. After unveiling the latest generation of this legendary silo last February with the release of the Copa Sense which is totally revolutionary, the German equipment manufacturer takes the Copa Mundial 21 and its more classic design to bring a touch of modernity through the contribution of different technologies.
We therefore find the usual characteristics of the Copa Mundial on this new model with its high-end kangaroo leather, its classic silhouette and the famous folding tongue. Added to this is a layer of Primeknit on the upper part of the shoe. This technology developed by adidas is in the form of a very flexible and resistant weave. This Copa Mundial is also merged with the Copa Sense since it uses the outer plate of the latest generation of the silo where we find the crampons “SOFTSTUDS” made of a softer material that flexes when in contact with the ball.
This unique model is presented in an original color, moving away from the colors of the past, with a purple background and pink at the level of the outer sole, the heel and the tongue. The three adidas stripes are white while there is a touch of orange with the inscriptions “Copa Mundial” and “adidas”. The German equipment manufacturer has also thought of futsal players and street football players on asphalt since a model based on the same characteristics has been dedicated to them.
These two models are already available in limited edition on the adidas store.
