Ander Herrera is not afraid of competition in the middle

While Paris Saint Germain are looking for new midfielders to expand their squad, the Spaniard Ander Herrera still wants to stay at the club in order to fight for his place in the team. Asked by AS on the likely future competition with Vitinha and Renato Sanches, he doesn’t seem concerned about the risk of playing less.

“I like this. In Manchester, I was asked the same question when Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matic, Pogba or Fred were there. In Paris, Danilo, Gueye, Rafinha arrived… And I always played and I always had responsibilities. It made me a better footballer. I like having midfielders by my side who make me better and the team better.
