According to Sport, the sports management of FC Barcelona is preparing a major cleaning this summer, one of the first victims of which would be the Catalan midfielder Riqui Puig. The 22-year-old Spaniard, who is with Barça until June 2023, is expected to leave the Catalan club this summer and could sign with Celta Vigo. The Galician formation is looking for a replacement in the middle Denis Suarez and would therefore have set its sights on the young Barcelonan.
According to the Spanish daily, the Catalans are hoping to get around five million euros for Riqui Puig, although the Catalans could extend the Spanish U21 international before loaning him out. The Spanish midfielder has only played 17 games this season, only three of them as a starter, and has scored just one goal.
