Bayern: Robert Lewandowski’s former agent prosecuted for blackmail

According to information from the Polish Press Agency (PAP), Cezary Kucharski, the former agent of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, is being prosecuted by the Warsaw prosecutor’s office for blackmail. The 33-year-old Polish ex-agent would have blackmailed the Lewandowski couple by threatening to disclose information about “alleged tax irregularities”. Kucharski, who is also a former Polish international, demanded 20 million euros from the couple to remain silent.

According to the prosecutor, the Polish police have already found evidence of the blackmail on the computer of the agent, who also threatened the Bavarian striker with legal proceedings to put pressure on him. In 2018, Robert Lewandowski and Cezary Kucharski had put an end to their collaboration which had lasted for ten years. The Munich center-forward has since been represented by Pini Zahavi.
