Bayer Leverkusen and Augsburg ended the fifth day of the Bundesliga on Monday evening, with an interesting duel on paper, to say the least. It was Nice’s rival in Europe who won, with a score of 3-1.
Lucas Alario opened the scoring from the penalty quarter of an hour of play, before Caligiuri equalized (1-1, 51st). But it was without counting on the Argentine striker Bayer, who offered himself a brace (2-1, 74th). Moussa Diaby, the former Parisian, folded the meeting (3-1, 90th + 4). Leverkusen passed fourth, while Augsburg continued on a third match without winning and remained eleventh.
