Brest: Youcef Belaïli sees himself staying in Ligue 1

Arrived this winter free in Brest, Youcef Belaili had some difficulties in finding rhythm. Physically not at best, the Algerian international had to acclimatize to Ligue 1 to become efficient again. And for some time now, the striker has been back to his best level, to the delight of Brest, who want to keep him at the end of the season.

In an interview for The TelegramYoucef Belaïli returned to his acclimatization period and confirmed his desire to stay in Ligue 1. “I have gained confidence since my arrival. Today, I know that I have the qualities to play in this championship. My record (2 goals and 2 assists)? I am not satisfied. I hoped I could do more. But inch’Allah, next season I’m staying in Ligue 1 to score a lot of goals and make assists. Will it be in Brest? God willing !”
