FC Barcelona is in panic for two of its nuggets

Many clubs are interested in Ronald Araujo and Gavi, both in a contract situation that is not easy for the Barcelonans to manage.

He is one of the few Barcelona players who has not had much to reproach himself for this season. Match after match, despite fairly recurring physical glitches, Ronald Araujo asserts himself as the potential leader of the Barcelona defense of tomorrow. And inevitably, it does not go unnoticed, especially since Barça is not in a strong position in this case. Same story for the revelation of the season, Gavi.

The Catalans are currently negotiating a new lease for the Spanish midfielder and the Uruguayan rock, whose contracts expire in 2023. The daily brand thus indicates that the Barcelona leaders are quite worried about these two files, in particular because both are coveted by many European leaders, capable of offering sacred salary conditions to the two nuggets.

The Araujo case worries a lot

Even if in this case, it is especially for Araujo that Barça trembles. In particular because he wishes to obtain better remuneration, in accordance with his new role. He currently receives €900,000 a year, a relatively low salary, especially at Barça. The first Catalan approaches didn’t convince the player’s agent, since Joan Laporta’s management clearly doesn’t approach the demands of the Araujo clan.

Manchester United and Chelsea are already on the lookout and have reportedly started the first talks with the Uruguayan’s agent, letting it be known that they are very interested and therefore able to bet big on him. And the situation of Barça does not help, since the Catalans must degrease to be able to offer a nice salary to the former Boston River without exceeding the salary limit of the financial fair play of La Liga. One hell of a headache…
