While the outcome of the title race in Serie A will be known around 8 p.m. this Sunday after the results of AC Milan and Inter, respectively against Sassuolo and Sampdoria, the sporting director of Inter Milan Beppe Marotta has been asked about the contract situation of Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, free next June and still not extended.
While a departure seemed to be taking shape for the 2018 World Cup finalist, the Inter manager said that the club wanted to extend his player’s contract: “We will do our best to extend Ivan Perisić’s contract. We are confident because both parties want to continue together – of course we have to think about it as Inter supporters but also as club directors.”
