Kyril Louis-Dreyfus becomes majority shareholder of Sunderland

Arrived last winter in Sunderland, Kyril Louis-Dreyfus, son of the former owner of OM, Robert Louis-Dreyfus, did not yet hold the majority of shares in the club. It is now done.

Indeed, the young man bought all the shares of Charlie Methven as well as some belonging to Stewart Donald, in order to become the majority shareholder up to 51%. ‘Today marks an important milestone in the rebuilding of Sunderland AFC’, Louis-Dreyfus said in a statement. Sunderland has validated its rise to the Championship this season.
