LdC: 50,000 Liverpool supporters expected in Paris

According to the newspaper The Team, the authorities are expecting more than 50,000 Liverpool supporters in Paris next Saturday for the Champions League final against Real Madrid. For the occasion a “fan zone” should be created on the Cours de Vincennes in the east of the capital, to welcome the many English fans. Liverpool and Real have just 22,000 tickets each for their supporters.

According to the sports daily, this fan zone, where musical entertainment would be planned, should open around 2 p.m. on the day of the final and would not only be reserved for Reds supporters, with or without a ticket for the match. On the side of Real, a device of the same kind will be set up in the park of the Legion of Honor in Saint-Denis, near the Stade de France.
