Liga: Cadiz and Mallorca maintained, Granada relegated after their draw against Espanyol


After the meeting between Elche and Getafe and before the 10 p.m. multiplex, there were La Liga matches at 8 p.m. counting for the 38th day. Several teams were playing their future on this last meeting. Indeed, Cadiz (18th) moved to the red lantern of Alavés, already relegated (20th), and had to win and hope for bad results from Mallorca (17th) against Osasuna (10th) and Granada (16th) against the ‘Espanyol (13th).

No goal was scored in the first period on the three pitches, but as soon as the locker room returned, Mallorca opened the scoring against Osasuna (47th) and took cover at the end of the match on a goal from the former Lyonnais, Clement Grenier (83rd). On the other lawns, Jorge Molina could have guided the Andalusians towards maintaining but did not fit his penalty (71st). A few minutes later, Cadiz unblocked the mark against Alavés on a goal by Choco Lozano (76th), thus maintaining his team in La Liga and sending Granada to the second division.
