Liga: Valencia finally retains Daniel Wass

According to the Spanish daily AS, Valencia FC have finally decided not to sell their midfielder Daniel Wass, while an agreement with Atlético Madrid had been found. This Wednesday morning, the Valencian club announced, in a meeting with the player, their intention to decline the Colchoneros’ offer, as the club would have no acceptable alternative in the event of the 32-year-old Dane’s departure.

The former Celta Vigo player, who wants to leave Valencia, has reportedly announced that he no longer wants to play until the end of his contract next June. The Danish midfielder who has played 21 games since the start of the season will be absent for a few days from the Valencian group, because he is positive for the Covid.
