Lille: Burak Yilmaz leaves the club


Arrived in the summer of 2020, Burak Yilmaz (36), at the end of his contract in a few days, let it be known that he would not extend to Lille, bidding farewell to the northern club via his social networks. This Friday, LOSC has just formalized the information on its official website.

“Burak Yılmaz will leave LOSC this summer after two seasons in the Lille jersey. The Club wishes to salute and thank its Turkish international striker (36 years old), who will forever remain one of the great architects of the title of French champion 2021 (…) From the top of his 72 matches and 25 goals incl. of the Dogues, Burak Yılmaz will remain in the modern history of LOSC as one of the most emblematic and charismatic attackers., the club said in its press release. The Turkish striker will have won Ligue 1 and the Champions Trophy with the Mastiffs.
