Arrived in 2018 in Lille from the Portuguese club Belenenses SAD, the Mozambican left-back Reinildo won in the group of LOSC, crowned champion of France last season. The 27-year-old player, free of any contract next summer, had been linked to Napoli and FC Porto last summer, which would have brought cash into the coffers before finally staying with the Mastiffs.
The sports daily The Team announces this Sunday that Reinildo could finally take over the management of La Liga. Indeed Atlético de Madrid, reigning Spanish champions, would be tempted to sign him for free at the end of the season. Lille can still hope to extend his player but the negotiations have not advanced for months, which therefore seems to compromise the hope of a renewal of his lease in the North of France.
