At SV Werder Bremen, those responsible want to prevent a new catastrophe season. For this reason, the squad should be changed in some places. Jonathan Panzo from AS Monaco is obviously also an issue.
SV Werder Bremen is apparently concerned with the commitment of Jonathan Panzo. According to the Guardian journalist Ed Aarons, the Hanseatic people are interested in the talent of AS Monaco. The French first division club Dijon FCO and Vitória Guimarães from Portugal are also in the race.
The 19-year-old Panzo had attended Chelsea FC’s youth academy before joining Monegasque in 2018 for three million euros. There, however, the English Under-21 international hardly got a chance, only a total of three appearances. Panzo spent the past season on loan at Cercle Brugge.
His contract in Monaco expires in 2021, so a split in this is likely. However, that the principals in the principality will not demand a large transfer for Panzo. The 19-year-old central defender could also be affordable for SV Werder, whose transfer budget is currently tight.
