It’s official, there are changes at AS Monaco! The princely club has just announced that Oleg Petrov is no longer the vice-president and general manager of ASM. He was replaced by Jean-Emmanuel de Wiit. However, Monaco indicates in its press release that the Russian remains in the organization chart and also confirms that the sporting director Paul Mitchell remains on the Rock.
“AS Monaco’s Board of Directors has confirmed the arrival of Jean-Emmanuel de Witt as Chief Executive Officer, following his appointment by President Dmitry Rybolovlev. Jean-Emmanuel de Witt will be responsible for operational management and will focus on increasing the Club’s income. All services will be under his responsibility, with the exception of the sports management. Sporting Director Paul Mitchell will report directly to Club President Dmitry Rybolovlev. Oleg Petrov continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors and Vice-President, representing the Club in the Professional Football League (member of the Board of Directors), ECA (member of the Board of administration) and UEFA (ECA representative on the Professional Football Strategy Council). »
