Premier League: Oleksandr Zinchenko dedicates Manchester City title to Ukrainians


Coming on at half-time against Aston Villa on Sunday as Manchester City lost 1-0, Oleksandr Zinchenko performed well by notably provoking his side’s second goal in a 3-2 victory. Thus, the Sky Blues won the Premier League by maintaining a one-point lead over Liverpool. The attacking midfielder, repositioned as a left-back, savored the title and dedicated it to the people of his country, Ukraine, while the war with Russia is still in full swing.

“These are unforgettable emotions for me. This award is for all Ukrainians who are currently dying and trying to survive in all sorts of ways due to Russian aggression. I am so proud to be Ukrainian, I would like to one day bring this award to Ukraine for all Ukrainians because they deserve it” he blurted with emotion.
