After tours of China and Singapore in 2018 and 2019, PSG are back in Asia. Without knowing which coach, the PSG players already know that they will fly to Japan this summer to prepare for the 2022-2023 season. The capital club has just communicated, during a press conference this morning in Tokyo in the presence of Sebastien Wasels, Managing Director of Paris Saint-Germain, Patrick Mboma, former club and J-League player , and Kazuyoshi Miura, ambassador of the tour. The tour includes three friendly matches, played on July 20, 23 and 25.
Against Kawasaki Frontale at National Stadium (Tokyo) on July 20, followed by matches against Urawa Red Diamonds at Saitama Stadium (Saitama) on July 23 and against Gamba Osaka at Panasonic Stadium (Osaka) on July 25. The French champions will train in public, at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground in Tokyo and at J Green Sakai in Osaka. Figurehead of PSG, Kylian Mbappé welcomed this tour with a good eye. “I’ve had the chance to come here before and it’s a wonderful country. The team will love it and we will have the pleasure of meeting our many Japanese fans who love football and are knowledgeable about it.” he reacted.
