PSG: what Nice wants for Christophe Galtier

OGC Nice and PSG are still negotiating to find an agreement concerning Christophe Galtier. And if for the moment, the Parisian offer is far from what Nice expects, the negotiations continue calmly. Both parties want to reach an agreement quickly.

Since the start of the transfer window, the future identity of the next Paris Saint-Germain coach has been questioned. While Mauricio Pochettino’s future was in no doubt, the name of who would sit on the bench next year looked like a real mystery. On the side of the Parisian direction, the tracks have multiplied. The names of Sergio Conceição, Ruben Amorim, Zinedine Zidane or even Christophe Galtier have been mentioned. The first two were quickly dismissed and it was therefore between Zidane and Galtier. One appreciated by Qatar, the other by Luis Campos who worked with him in Lille. But now there is no longer any doubt. Zinedine Zidane will not be the future coach of PSG.

The Portuguese and his management have been negotiating for several days with OGC Nice for Christophe Galtier. The French technician is now the priority of the capital club. Which is pretty good for Nice, who wants to get rid of Galtier to install Lucien Favre afterwards. The two clubs are therefore trying to quickly reach an agreement to prepare in the best conditions for the coming season and also to really launch their transfer window. But for the moment, no agreement has been reached…

Nice wants between 8 and 10 million

According to our information, OGC Nice is claiming transfer compensation of between 8 and 10 million to let Christophe Galtier go. Problem, the PSG is not willing to exceed the sum of 5 M € to secure the services of the former coach of AS Saint-Etienne. The possibility of including Parisian players in the transaction to facilitate the transfer was also mentioned. This idea would suit Paris well, which would greatly like to slim down its workforce this summer. Several PSG players have even been offered, including young midfielder Eric Junior Dina-Ebimbe (22). But it seems complicated since Paris is claiming a substantial sum for its player and it therefore has very little chance of succeeding. From Nice sources, Paris can also count on the help of Antero Henrique in this file.

PSG will therefore have to find a solution quickly to be able to finalize the arrival of Christophe Galtier. It will obviously be necessary either to align with the requirements of Nice, or to succeed in finding an agreement with therefore the possibility of including some young people in the transaction. OGC Nice, for example, is very interested in the Parisian Titi Djeidi Gassama (18) and would very much like to recruit him this summer, as we revealed to you a little earlier this Sunday. To be continued…
