With only two days of the Bundesliga remaining and Borussia Mönchengladbach can no longer qualify for the Champions League, Puma presents the club’s home shirt for next season.
Equipped by the German brand since the 2018-2019 season, Borussia was entitled to fairly classic home jerseys with the exception of the one for the 2020-2021 season which broke the historical codes of the club founded in 1963. Puma is back today ‘ hui with a new tunic which should delight fans attached to their colors and their history. If this jersey is intended for next season, Marcus Thuram and his partners will wear it from this Saturday, May 15 against VFB Stuttgart at Borussia-Park.
On this white outfit, green is making a comeback in the form of stripes on the shoulders and the back of the neck where it is accompanied by black which is also found at the bottom of the sleeves and the flocking. This striped design draws its inspiration from the club jerseys unveiled in the 1990s. In addition to regaining its true colors, the Borussia regains its historic logo with its green background which had ceased to be used in 1980. Puma therefore returns with a nice nod to the history of the five-time Bundesliga-winning club.
Green and black striped shorts as well as white socks complete the outfit that Marco Rose’s men will wear this Saturday against Stuttgart!
