Real Madrid: Sergio Ramos’ extension on track

It has become almost a given: Sergio Ramos is indispensable at Real Madrid. The center-back and Casa Blanca captain is the mainstay of Zinedine Zidane’s defense but is out of contract at the end of the season. If it seems unlikely, he can chat with other teams. However, he seems in a strong position at Real to obtain a dream extension.

Indeed, the Madrid defense suffers without him, like the defeat in the Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk (2-3). According to AS, the player would like to extend and would have full confidence in Florentino Perez to conclude the deal on time. According to the Spanish media, the 34-year-old defender will come to the negotiating table with a desire for a two-season contract, accompanied by a slight salary increase, currently at 15 million net per year. The adventure, which has already lasted 15 years, is therefore likely to continue.
