Ryan Giggs pleads not guilty in Manchester court

After a brilliant career at Manchester United, Ryan Giggs ended his playing career in 2014. Legend of the Mancunian club and often associated with his sidekick Paul Scholes, the native of Cardiff has now held the post of Wales coach since January 2018. But the former Red Devils striker is not only talking about him on a pitch of soccer. Accused of domestic violence in November 2020, Ryan Giggs was present this Friday at Manchester court, according to information from The team, to allow the prosecution to set out the details of their complaint.

A hearing during which, the former star of MU pleaded not guilty to the facts that the opposing party accused him of. Accused of having hit his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville with a head, he would also have threatened the latter’s little sister. If the current Welsh coach, 47, has refuted all the alleged violence and threats against these two young women, the case is not over. A trial is thus scheduled for January 24, 2022.
