The 28-year-old former Lyonnais, who had a big game by scoring just before half-time, also delivered an assist for Raul De Tomas.
Darder’s performance, however, failed to see Espanyol win, due to a late Barca equalizer through Dutch striker Luuk De Jong. Under contract with the Barcelona club until June 2023, the Spanish midfielder has played 22 La Liga games this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists.
