Serie A resumption date set

Sacred champion of Italy on Saturday night for the 9th consecutive time, Juventus will return to the lawns on the weekend of September 19. This is the date that the Italian league has set to resume the championship after this season which will have been marked by the shutdown of nearly three months due to a health crisis.

The press release specifies that this date “Confirms the preference already expressed … by the majority of clubs at a meeting devoted to this subject”. Serie A version 2020/2021 will end on the weekend of May 23, 2021. Note also that the Christmas break will be shortened.
