According to information from BFM-TV, a last meeting was to take place this Wednesday to fine-tune the details of the organization of the Champions League final on Saturday evening at the Stade de France between Real Madrid and Liverpool (9 p.m.). For this major event, an important system should be put in place with in particular an enlarged security perimeter around the stadium, as well as the prohibition of the sale of alcohol near the Ile-de-France enclosure after 6 p.m.
Fan zones are also planned to welcome fans of the two teams, in particular those of Liverpool who should be more than 50,000 in the capital on Saturday. A fan zone for Reds supporters will thus be set up in Cours de Vincennes, east of Paris. The Spanish fans will be installed in the park of the Legion of Honor in Saint-Denis. All costs incurred in hosting the supporters of the two finalists will be borne by UEFA.
