Dele Alli looked set for a bright future after impressing in his first season with Tottenham in 2015-16. However, the player never lived up to the expectations placed on him and today the best of his career seems already behind him, when he is only 25 years old. The arrival of Antonio Conte on the Spurs bench did not help the Englishman to find playing time.
Several Premier League clubs would in any case be interested in the idea of having the former MK Dons player in their squad, in the form of a loan. According to The Daily Mail, Newcastle are said to be pole in the case, having also been linked with Jesse Lingard. The tabloid also cites Brighton and Everton as a possible base for the English international (37 caps), but also Paris Saint-Germain who could fall back on the player if Tanguy Ndombélé did not join the French capital.
