Mario Baloteli is back. Aged 31, the Italian international striker now plays for Adana Demirspor, in Turkish D1. The former Inter Milan, Manchester City, OGC Nice and Olympique de Marseille striker stood out in a very good way this Sunday, on the occasion of the 38th and last day of Süper Lig, in which his team crushed Goztepe 7-0.
Already, because he has scored a quintuple, bringing his total goals to 18 in the league over the whole of the 2021-2022 season, and positioning him in 2nd place in the scorer rankings, just 2 units behind former Lorientais Umut Bozok (and with 7 games played less). But also because on one of his achievements of the day, Mario Balotelli achieved a masterpiece, by deceiving the opposing goalkeeper after having cracked an impressive series of stepovers and a hook just as devastating, all with remarkable speed of execution.
