The formalizations follow one another at LOSC. After the departure of Burak Yilmaz and the extension of José Fonte’s contract earlier this Friday, the Mastiffs have just announced the departure of Xeka at the end of the season, after the expiry of his contract.
“Xeka will leave the Club after four and a half seasons, 144 games and 9 goals in the Dogues jersey. Thank you Xeka”, the club said in its press release. The 27-year-old midfielder will have won Ligue 1 during the 2020-21 season as well as the 2021 Champions Trophy, against PSG (1-0).
