Former Harambee Stars striker Dennis Oliech has retired from football with his next step being to venture into business.
The forward who had interest to return to his former Club Mathare United or join Wazito FC has decided to call it quits after he was unable to secure moves to either of the teams.
He confirmed the development to Nation Sport stating that he has also retired from the International scene.
“I have officially retired from playing football and will venture into business. I had stated when I left Gor Mahia that I would bounce back by joining Wazito or Bandari, but nothing is forthcoming and that is why I have not seen any need to continue. I have retired both international and at a club level,” he told Nation Sport.
He has announced that he is not interested in coaching and his plan is to venture into football agency. He is keen to help the players secure good clubs in Europe.
The forward last played for Gor Mahia but his contract was terminated with the club citing misconduct as the reason for the termination. During his stay at Gor Mahia he scored seven goals with one coming in CAF Confederations cup goal.
