Kenya National Highways Authority (Kenha) and Nairobi City County government are embroiled in an ugly contest for the beautification of Mombasa Road.

The brawl climaxed on September 28 after more than 20 county staff in 10 vehicles and led by the governor hired youth and vandalised Kenha’s site offices, advertisement panels and signposts, besides defacing sections of footbridges on the major highway.
