Last month it was announced that the successful Golden Globe winner, Between Knives and Secrets, will become a trilogy produced exclusively by Netflix. And now, after a month without news about the project, the DEADLINE website said that actor Dave Bautista, best known for playing Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, will also be part of the cast of the sequences.
According to the foreign news portal, Netflix declined to comment on the cast involved in the second and third films, but the actor himself confirmed his presence in the feature via social media.

Little is known about the development of Between Knives and Secrets, but it has already been confirmed that Daniel Craig returns to the cast as Detective Benoit Blanc, in addition to both films again featuring the direction and script of Rian Johnson, who directed the first film and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The second chapter of the franchise should be shot in Greece, still in 2021.
Between Knives and Secrets it was a box office success, raising $ 311 million worldwide, exceeding a budget of $ 40 million. The feature also won an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay, but was eventually defeated by Parasite, by Bong Joon-Ho. One of its biggest attractions was the strong cast of Hollywood hit names like Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Lakeith Stanfield and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
There is no set date for the sequel to open in theaters, but it is hoped that by the end of the year there will be more information about the release schedule. The first film is available on Amazon Prime Video, while both volume 1 and volume 2 Guardians of the Galaxy can be watched on Disney +.
