Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny 2: The Witch Queen (the witch queen, in Portuguese). The video highlights the new region that will be added by the expansion: the throne world of Savathûn.
The unprecedented destination brings an impressive look, with buildings that resemble the Shadowkeep. In an official publication, the studio describes the throne world of Savathûn as “a twisted universe of corruption and splendor” that “hosts a fragile balance of terrible power”.
In The Witch Queen, players will face the mighty threat of Savathûn, sister of Oryx, the Taken King (remember him? we faced this villain in the first Destiny, in the expansion the fall of the king). The expansion features the Bright Brood, beings from the Hive who have the same Light as the Guardians. It will be possible to forge custom weapons through a new crafting system and there will also be the addition of a new type of weapon called a gladius.
