The Federal Revenue Service in Cascavel (PR) is going to auction a huge amount of iPhones and cell phones from Xiaomi, Motorola and Samsung: the total of the minimum bids is almost R $ 3 million. In addition, there are hundreds of fitness bracelets, such as the Mi Band; smartwatches, such as the Apple Watch; and consoles like PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

This auction of seized goods will receive proposals until next Monday (26). All products are in a warehouse of the Federal Revenue in Cascavel, and need to be removed there if purchased. In addition, ICMS is levied.

And that is only a small part of what the Revenue is auctioning: there are 62 lots with dozens or even hundreds of cell phones each, whose total minimum bid is R $ 2.85 million. As the products rarely come out at the initial price, the collection should exceed R $ 3 million in this category.

Virtually all lots are reserved for legal entities, who can resell the products. “It is the responsibility of the bidder to comply with any Anatel requirements regarding batches with telecommunication products”, warns the announcement. know more on the IRS website.
The money from the auctions goes to Social Security and Fundaf (Fund for the Development of Tax Activities). R $ 118.7 million was collected between January and July this year.
