The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is coming, and among already leaked information and rumors, we have positive data and others not so much.
For several generations now, the Note line has just come to update the hardware of the S line with practically S-Pen support, and in 2020 the devices should come out of this proposal little or nothing. Like the S, Snapdragon models are expected to be restricted to the United States, China and South Korea markets.
The rest of the world should receive the Exynos variant, which often – despite its competence – is below its equivalents produced by Qualcomm. And well, Ice Universe may have brought even more frustrating data.
According to the insider, Samsung may use the Exynos 990 chips in the Galaxy Note 20 line. It is the same SoC as the S20 line, so not even a more polished chip will be used in the new flagship. With that, the line will be even more tenuous when choosing the top of the second half, and the S20 in the first half of this year.
Samsung already has low expectations for the launch of new smartphones, and this is due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. This scenario posed logistical difficulties, which may have hindered the company’s plans to order more powerful chips for the devices.
In any case, to the most attentive eyes this is a fact that will not please.
It is worth remembering, the two models of the Note 2020 line are already being approved by Anatel. The South Korean has scheduled for August the Galaxy Unpacked, in which it will reveal the new phones, as well as other gadgets.
