Coupled with rumors and information that keep coming up about the Galaxy Note 20 line, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Z Flip 5G and more products that will be presented to the public in early August, new details about the next Samsung wireless headset follow the inevitable leaks.
With an announcement scheduled for July 22, even before the Unpacked event where Samsung will unveil its new smartphones, Galaxy Buds Live has just won an official support page on the company’s South Korean website, confirming its number of model SM-R180.
The page does not reveal details of the accessory such as images, specifications or descriptions, but with so many leaks it is likely that such information will be presented in the coming days.
Offering a completely wireless experience, Galaxy Buds Live will be the new generation of TWS headphones (true wireless) from Samsung, with a bet on a bean-shaped design that is quite different from what the company has done so far.
It is likely that, thanks to the new design, the handset will be more portable, compact, lightweight and less intrusive, but the concern with battery life is still a reality, since the smaller size can also decrease the capacity of the battery.
Even with its format of earbuds that does not enter the ear canal as in headphones in-ear, Buds Live is said to offer the same active noise cancellation seen on more expensive headsets like the AirPods Pro and Sony’s powerful WF-1000XM3. Probably the quality will not be enough to isolate a good part of the external sounds, since the silicone rubbers that line the tips of the earphones help in the noise cancellation even more. But we will have to wait a few days to find out if, in fact, this feature will be present in the new Samsung headphones.
