Galaxy Tab S8 line wins first real images and new certifications

With its launch getting closer and closer, the Galaxy Tab S8 line had its first real images released, which reinforce the look already shown by several renderings previously. The photos are part of documentation regarding certifications that the devices are receiving from regulatory bodies.

In total there are three images, in which each of the models of the new line is shown without much detail. Even so, it is possible to see that the standard Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus should have a construction similar to what is already known in the Tab S7 line — on the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra should have super thin edges thanks to a new technology BRS. The product should even have a notch in the longest section, but this detail cannot be seen in the photo.

Regulatory approvals have also confirmed that the standard Tab S8 will come with exactly the same S Pen that is already available on the Galaxy Tab S7 — however, according to previous rumors, the experience could be improved through lower latency rates, thanks to new components on the screen itself. The other two models in the line have not yet passed the same certifications, so it is not possible to say that the pen will be the same.

What to expect from the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup

The Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets should have screen options that start at 11 inches in the standard model, go up to 12 inches in the Tab S8 Plus and reach 14.6 inches in the Ultra version — which will be the big news for the 2022 models, with the most powerful specifications.

Tests on Geekbench have already confirmed that the devices will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and Samsung will still be able to offer versions that reach up to 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage in the most expensive configurations.

The tablet’s other specifications remain unknown, but the suggested price of the devices has already been rumored, with possible increases compared to the previous generation. The exact date for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S8 line is also unknown, but it is quite likely that it will be shown in the coming weeks.
