Close to being announced by Samsung, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 had his wallpapers leaked this Sunday (2). They were released by leaker Ishan Agarwal, on your Twitter account.
The images suggest a more square proportion for the internal screen, compared to the first Galaxy Fold. It is also possible to check wallpapers when the device is closed – that is, with the external display. Check it out below:
The appearance of the panel inside can be a problem for those who want to consume videos on platforms like YouTube. In the case of the Google service, most videos are in 16: 9. This means that the videos would be displayed with the thickest black strips at the top and bottom ends.
Even if you zoom in at the time of playback, the tendency is for the aspect ratio to be distorted, rather than having a correction – something already seen in experiments done on the Huawei Mate Xs. That is, the Samsung folding device should be more advantageous for browsing or reading than games and multimedia, for example.
According to recent speculation, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature an internal screen of 7.7 inches – larger than the 7.3 of the original Fold – with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition to having an external display of 6.23 inches – a considerable increase from the predecessor’s 4.6 inches.
The new foldable smartphone from the Korean manufacturer is expected to be presented on Wednesday (5), at the event Unpacked 2020.
