Google went on to detail what changed in the Google Play system with each monthly update. Since December, the Research Giant has been posting exactly what the builds bring new, improvements, tweaks and bug fixes on the official support site.
Greater transparency about updates began in December, the first month in which the Google Play system build was described, according to 9to5Google. The current update, which introduced improvements in battery life, connectivity, security and other features, was briefly described, while the patch note the month of January was more specific in mentioning adjustments to the time zone management system and bug fixes.
Due to the sequence of publications, the breakdown must have become a policy of the Google Play system. Even if the company doesn’t go into detail about what’s new, a simple flag about what’s changed is significantly better than the user being left in the dark, especially when it comes to bugs and fixed issues.

Updates are automatic
The Google Play system is a mechanism included in a number of devices with Google software (Android, Android Auto and Wear OS, for example), which makes it possible to deliver updates without depending on manufacturers or telephone operators. The platform was introduced in Android 10, in the so-called Project Mainline, as a measure to minimize the impacts of ecosystem segmentation and provide a more cohesive experience.
Google Play system updates will still be distributed automatically and discreetly — only the most attentive users will usually notice the changes. If you want to read what’s changed in the latest updates, check out the platform’s official support site.
