The Photos app library (iOS | iPadOS | macOS) is great for organizing user clicks, editing and sharing in the iCloud Photo Library. However, they may have images or videos that you wanted to hide so as not to compromise your privacy, whether in situations where you are going to lend a device, take technical assistance or for personal reasons.
To avoid having to delete or store your photos and videos in third-party apps, Fotos contains a feature for you to choose which ones you want to show or hide from the Photo Library. Any images you want to hide go to the “Hidden Items” album, so they do not appear in the Library and in the app widget on the home screen.
You can still disable the app’s “Hidden Items” album to permanently hide the photos, and whenever you want to have them back, just reactivate the album.
In this article, we will easily teach you how to hide photos and the “Hidden Items” album in the iPhone, iPad and Mac library.
