Lost Ark arrived free for players last Friday (11) and has already reached surprising numbers. The MMORPG published by Amazon reached the mark of 1 million and 325 thousand simultaneous players on Steam, being the second game with the most active users on the platform. The information is from SteamDB.
The game record with the most simultaneous players is still PUBG, with a peak of 3 million people online. However, it is worth mentioning that Lost Ark surpassed titles from Valve itself, such as CS:GO (with 1.3 million) and dota 2 (1.29 million).
This isn’t the first Amazon game to hit impressive opening weekend numbers, with New World reaching the mark of 913 thousand simultaneous players during its launch period. The game, however, has lost numbers over time, and is currently averaging 22,000 active players.
