After being approved by the FCC, the Motorola Nio appeared in leaked images on the Chinese social network Weibo. The photos show the screen with two holes for the camera – which is consistent with the first renderings revealed in December -, as well as a quadruple set of lenses at the rear, similar to the Moto G 5G Plus.
According to the images, the cell phone will have a 64 megapixel main sensor. You can also see the “Audio Zoom” specification on the back of the device.
The color that appears in the photo below would be called “Sky”, but according to the informant, Motorola would also be preparing the “Beryl” version, a type of green / blue. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the side of the phone, under the “Power” button.
The specifications for the phone code-named “Nio” include the Android 11 system, support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and NFC. In addition, FCC certification reveals the 5,000 mAh battery capacity with 20W fast charging.
The chip, according to rumors, must be a Snapdragon 800 series, but there is still no confirmation of the model. The component would work with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. Forecasts also indicate that the display will have Full HD + resolution and an unusual refresh rate of 105 Hz.
However, the commercial name of the smartphone is not yet known – which may belong to the Moto G line or be the Motorola Edge S.
