Nubia Red Magic 7 appears in real images and must have up to 18 GB of RAM

Nubia is almost ready to introduce the new generation of its high-end cell phones. After having already appeared in certifications that confirmed several details about its specifications, the Red Magic 7 had its first real photos released due to a passage at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory body.

Like the previous generation, the device should have a bold look, with several aesthetic details on the back cover. The camera module will remain centered, where the lenses are vertically aligned — the device will have three cameras in the rear section, and a flash further down.

On the front, it is not possible to see many details of the display, but the front camera should be in a position closer to the side of the device. According to specifications listed on TENAA, the phone will have a 6.8-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) — the certification does not confirm the refresh rate, but it is likely that the device will bring at least the 165 Hz seen in the previous generation.

The processing will be the task of an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that works at frequencies of up to 2.95 GHz. The performance set should be completed with options ranging from 8, 12, 16 or even 18 GB of RAM, in set with 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal storage.

The Nubia Red Magic 7’s main camera will have a 64 MP sensor, just like its predecessor. The details of the other sensors are yet to be confirmed, but it is possible that it will keep the same 8 + 2 MP for ultrawide and macro respectively. On the front, the selfie camera will have 8 MP.

A previous certification by the 3C body confirmed that the device will support 165W fast charging, and it should still have a 4,380 mAh battery divided into two 2,190 mAh sky moons. It’s a considerably smaller capacity than what’s seen on the Red Magic 6 (5,050 mAh), and more comparable to what’s recorded on the Red Magic 6S Pro (4,500 mAh).

There is still no set date for the launch of the Nubia Red Magic 7 line, but it is likely that the standard model will also be accompanied by a Pro variant. If the company follows the schedule of showing a new generation every 12 months, the cell phones will be presented in March.
