Updated! Galaxy Buds and Buds Plus gain update with stability and security improvements

The Galaxy Buds Plus gained a new update shortly after two weeks after the last update. However, this time, his older brother was also updated. Samsung has sent a new version of software for its two recent models of headphones.

Each has a different serial number and size, but both basically deal with the same thing. The changelog only addresses improvements in software stability and security, although a Samsung forum in South Korea points to the arrival of a new menu, which offers options for blocking and managing connections to sources not recognized by the headset.

The updates have the names R170XXU0ATF2 and R175XXU0ATF2 for Galaxy Buds and Buds Plus, respectively, and have sizes of 1.40MB and 1.32MB, and are being distributed globally. To verify that your model has received, look for Headphones Software Update on the Galaxy Wearable home screen.

Not long ago, an update brought widgets to the Android home screen, which lets you see basic information like the headphones’ battery level and charging case. The previous update dealt with improvements to the Ambient Sound feature, which deals directly with how the headset handles the surrounding sound, and before that, the headphones gained integration into bixby routines.
