Users of the video conference app can now enable it to broadcast live via smartphone
The video conference app zoom continues to expand its resources to maintain the success achieved during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, in addition to holding meetings or Webinars, and broadcasting the videos live on the desktop, users can also make lives on YouTube through the Android application.

The livestreaming function is now available for PC and Mac, and can be used on Android phones from version 188.8.131.524. According to Zoom, it is available to users with a Professional, Corporate, Education or Business account.

The process of finding the resource via the smartphone promises to be simpler: just access the bottom menu within a meeting and tap on the option “Transmit to YouTube”. However, you need to make some settings for the option to appear.
First, before broadcasting, you must have an eligible channel and be ready to make lives on YouTube. Then, you must activate the YouTube live stream within your Zoom account, following the steps below:
- Go to the zoom.us website and log in to your account.
- Click on “Account Management” and go to “Account Settings”
- Enable “Allow live streaming” under “In meeting (advanced)” and enable YouTube.
After these settings, you will be able to see the option of live streaming to YouTube on Android.
