Coronavirus: Peru has more than 330,000 cases and 12,000 deaths

Peru today surpassed the mark of 330,000 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. The country is the second with more cases in Latin America, behind only Brazil.

The Peruvian Minister of Health released 3,797 more confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 330,123.

The country has also recorded 184 more deaths since yesterday, bringing to 12,054 the number of people who died in Peru due to covid-19.
