The star player of the Lakers of the Angels, Lebron Jameshe asked the people of his hometown, Akron (Ohio), help him find a killer.
James tweeted Wednesday that the sister of one of his best friends was murdered at home on the weekend.
The four-time champion of the NBA he pleaded with the inhabitants of this city to help him “find out who did this horrible, shameful and disgusting thing with such a caring and loving angel.”
According to reports from ABC5 Cleveland, Ericka weems was found dead in her home in Akron Monday, after friends and family were unable to communicate with her and worried for her safety.
After the woman of 37 years was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head, his death was declared a homicide, but no suspects have been identified in the case.
Weems’ younger brother, Brandon, is aclose friend of James and someone the 16-time NBA All-Star has described in the past as his “younger brother”.
“I make sure to take care of him,” James said in 2015 of Brandon Weems.. “He’s my little brother.”
They both grew up together and were teammates in high school in St. Vincent-St. Mary.
They have stuck together in his adult life, and Weems even took on a role with the Cleveland Cavaliers during James’ second season with that franchise.
“My brother’s family needs answers on why and who,” wrote James.
